Out of the box and off the beaten path – that’s me! I’m a Rocky Mountain Native living in the Ozarks, so my heart lives in the mountains. The apex of my world is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and living to glorify God. I am married to the man who was most definitely preordained for me, and we’re raising two phenomenal, smart, and wild boys: Duke and Brecken.
Besides God and Family, the joys of my life are being outside, riding one of our three horses, travel, and of course, photography. Since childhood, and even in spite of growing up as a spoiled suburban brat near Denver, you could not keep me in the house – and I was usually barefoot! I’ve always been filled with wanderlust, inherited and instilled by my parents, and it was my mother who gave me her eye for photography.

I would be remiss to leave out the legacy surrounding the start of my professional photography: It was the way I felt I could honor my parents’ memories when they both passed away within 8 months of one another, surrounding the birth of my first son, in 2017-2018. They both would have encouraged it, and I knew God was directing me to do so. I credit every success to the Maker, and pray to Him before every session. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord has given me a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. – Isaiah 61:3

You will have noticed most of my work is outdoors, in natural light. There is no greater glow than the one created by the Creator, and I know on a personal level how much the memory of the way the sun soaks over the skin of our loved ones can impact our memories. However, I am not at all afraid of indoor photography or supplementary light, and come equipped for every circumstance.
While the most important bones behind photography are its source of light (the actual word means “drawing with light”), I love to emphasize every other essence of the nature of people – from the way the breeze catches hair, to the softness in a gaze or the contagion in a laugh. These moments are forever, in high definition. I consider it failure if you look back on your memories and only see generic smiles directed at a stranger. You are the focus, and the love surrounding you. I mean to tell that story.

I’m sure you’ll have questions, and once I answer them to your satisfaction, we’ll secure your date with a 20% non-refundable* installment, and I will send a contract protecting both of us for you to review and sign. From there, we’ll schedule you an Engagement Session, and I’ll provide you with general timeline insight to help the planning process as we get closer to your day. Around 1-2 months out from your wedding, when plans are mostly in place, we’ll have another meeting to thoroughly go over details and to tailor my coverage to your unique and perfect day. Of course, in the interim time, I am always available to answer questions and offer advice, both as a professional in the industry and as a forever bride myself.
A 20% installment is required to book. These act as retainers to secure my services for your date of choice, and therefore are non-refundable*. The remaining package fee is due at the time of the session. Once your deposit is made, I will send you a Client Guide, and we can discuss location, and any special requests for me to ensure I include in my planning.
*Non-refundable: Unless cancellation is on my part or in a circumstance defined as an Act of God, whereby I would not have been able to replace a cancellation with another booking.
